Justin Bieber who just turned 17 performing to thousands of screaming British fans. “What’s up, Birmingham?” he said getting last night’s gig under way. “Welcome to my world. I love my British fans. Nothing I love more than to make you smile. Have you ever been bullied? Told you can never make it? Tell them Never Say Never…” Then he sang that tune, joined by Will Smith’s son Jayden. Ive missed it. #myworldtour” He also Tweeted his support for Willow, who performed Whip My Hair and her new single “21st Century Girl.” He wrote: ‘Willow is killing in the opening set. Super proud of her and excited for you to see it. Me and Jaden watched like proud big bros.’

Justin Bieber celebrated his 17th birthday today in Los Angeles with girlfriend Selena Gomez. Together, they went mall checked out D&G and Louis Vuitton and just before leaving the grabbed some Pinkberry yogurt and headed to Justin’s car.

First time this accomplishment has been achieved since last year, when Bieber also had two albums in the top five. Justin Bieber has become such a musical sales force that now the only competition left is, well, Justin Bieber. After landing the #1 album last week with his Never Say Never – The Remixes, Bieber had to settle for #2 this week to make room for Adele’s 21. But the rush of attention on the now-17-year-old pop star thanks to his big-screen debut in “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” helped propel his nearly year-old My World 2.0 back into the top five at #5, a feat that Billboard Associate Director of Charts Keith Caulfield said was a “very big deal.” In fact, Bieber is the first artist to have two albums in the top five at the same time since he achieved the same feat nearly a year ago. The last time it happened was in March of 2010 when 2.0 debuted at #1 while the singer’s debut, My World, was at #5. Caulfield said that before that, it hadn’t happened since October 2004 when rapper Nelly’s simultaneous album release of Sweat and Suit both crashed the top five at #1 and #2. If you go back to the last artist to do it without releasing two new albums at the same time, you have to look to May 2003, when 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’ was at #5 and his The New Breed CD/DVD debuted at #2. “Any way you look at it, it’s unusual,” said Caulfield, noting that even with all their success on the charts lately, not even Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift have notched that achievement. “It helps that you have four Bieber albums to choose from on the charts right now.” Source: MTV.com

We also hear Madonna’s every calculated move on the red carpet was brilliantly deconstructed by Jagger — who wrote the bible on calculated moves  — as he and a group watched via a closed-circuit TV feed that carried the action. Gun control on set! Not every celeb was at the Oscars. Sunday at the Cinema Society screening of “Rango,” Abigail Breslin told us co-star Johnny Depp won’t be what she recalls most from voicing a gunslinging mouse in the animated flick. “We actually had real guns on-set, which you don’t expect in an animated movie,” the 14-year-old told us at the Crosby Street Hotel. Let’s hope they had some child-safety locks on those things. Larry David could hardly ‘Curb’ his enthusiasm Larry David had a real-life “Curb Your Enthusiasm” moment at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party — and loved it. When “Borat” star Sacha Baron Cohen and his gorgeous wife, Isla Fisher, came by to say hi to the curmudgeonly comic, David hugged Fisher, and in the ensuing clinch a strap on the petite redhead’s gown broke. When David realized what had happened, his face broke into a gigantic smile. “Don’t blame me!” he told her as she grappled with the wardrobe malfunction. “I didn’t do it!” But he sure seemed to enjoy it. Technical awards “The Social Network” missed out on top honors at the Oscars Sunday night, but real-life tech types made quite a showing at the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party – and we’re not just talking about gregarious Napster founder Sean Parker. According to Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter, what distinguished this year’s party from the fetes of yore was “the sheer number of tech entrepreneurs” in attendance. “We had the founders of Twitter (Jack Dorsey), Napster, Amazon (Jeff Bezos), Zynga (Mark Pincus) and even 4Chan (Christopher Poole),” Carter said. “When you mix them in with the stars and everyone from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to Valentino, you’ve got a combustible mix.” Also present were former Yahoo CEO Terry Semel, Paypal co-founders Elon Musk and Peter Thiel and Google CEO Eric Schmidt. Justin Bieber has apologised to his fans for ‘reacting in anger’ by sticking his finger up at the paparazzi. The star and rumoured girlfriend Selena Gomez were snapped leaving a birthday meal for the 17-year-old on Tuesday night. But Bieber admitted that he lost his temper and flipped the bird at photographers. Taking to Twitter, he told his followers that he regretted his actions, insisting that he will ‘try to do right’ in the future and not ‘react in anger’. “Had a great bday and at the end of the night we got surrounded by paps and I reacted in a way I know better. I’m sorry. It’s not always easy but I know better than to react in anger,” he wrote. “Life has its ups and downs but u guys r always there 4 me. I will make my mistakes but I promise 2 continue 2 grow with u and try 2 do rt (right)”.

A mystery bidder has paid more than $40,000 for a lock of Justin Bieber’s hair on eBay. The 17-year-old singer saved some of his famous hair after a re-style and gave it to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres in a signed box. She put it on the Internet auction site to raise cash for animal rescue group The Gentle Barn Foundation, and bidding closed at $40,668 (£24,911). The winner will also be invited onto DeGeneres’ show to meet the kid himself.
