Although it may feel like he’s lived a few lifetimes, The Biebs is only 17-years-old. So we don’t exactly think he has any need to rush into an egagement — even if Gomez is 19. That said, the couple do look fantastic together, and we’d love to see them start a family somewhere down the line.

When Gomez boarded her flight to Mexico in LA yesterday, she didn’t have a ring on her finger. Then, when she emerged south of the border, she was showing one off. And while we don’t believe it’s a diamond, the placement on her engagement finger makes this quite the riveting tale.

One thing’s for sure, if Bieber and Gomez do get engaged, millions of Beliebers will cry, the earth’s foundation will shake, and tabloids will have one hell of a field day. Of course, for Gomez’s sake, we hope Bieber could find a more romantic way to propose to his girlfriend than while flying in a jet.

Last time we heard from young Justin Bieber, he was telling us how he was ready to take a paternity test to prove he is not the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby. Tonight, he’ll be going our on TV screens across America to confirm he has done said test. And according to him, it was all done fairly easily…

In the Biebs’ interview on The Late Show With David Letterman, the little one reveals he wasn’t afraid to provide a DNA sample – all so that his name could be cleared.

“Yeah, I took [the test]. They just swab your mouth,” he smiled.

Justin also admitted he couldn’t believe how such cruel accusations could be made at him, but said he understands he was bound to face this sort of thing thanks to his position in the public eye.

“It’s pretty crazy [that] people make up false accusations,” he explained. “It’s going to happen. Being in the spotlight, people can say whatever.”

But the little fella did manage to have a joke around with David Letterman, saying, “I could smell a weasel too, a little bit,” when the TV host admitted to being rather angry when he heard the news of what Justin was being accused of.

You can watch more of Justin’s interview above. And from what we hear, Mariah Yeater’s lawyers have yet to comment on the paternity test news. Although, everything seems to have gone a bit quiet on her end. We never thought we’d be waving our Bieber flag as much as we are right now but we’re hoping this whole mess can be cleared up soon
